Hello and Welcome to Reiter Nutrition & Healthy Living!

 

I’m Aaryn and I am a certified nutrition & wellness consultant. I specialize in helping women in their 20's and 30's find the answers to their menstrual cycle irregularities and infertility struggles. 

 

My own story starts when I was a little girl. From a young age, I dealt with multiple health issues. It started with eczema flare-ups and digestive troubles. Then in my teen years and into my 20’s, I experienced painful periods, a benign cyst in my breast, depression & anxiety. Once I was into my 30’s, I struggled with PCOS (painful cysts in both of my ovaries), infertility, gallbladder attacks, and SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth).

 

I know what the experience is like of going from doctor to doctor, spending thousands of dollars on appointments & supplements and still not finding the relief or the answers as to why I was sick. Some of it was my own lack of compliance & follow through, but a large part of it was because the doctors weren’t addressing the root causes correctly.

 

Through my training to become a holistic nutrition consultant, I gained valuable knowledge regarding the incredible healing power of food. However, it wasn’t until I went to The Wellness Way Clinic that I finally received the answers as to why I was sick for all those years. They offered a different perspective and approach to addressing my health issues; one that actually gets to the root cause(s) rather than manipulate the issue with medication or supplements. They showed me how it all comes down to inflammation in the body.There are 3 main triggers of inflammation: Trauma, Toxins and Thoughts. These triggers are identified by evaluating health history, diet, lifestyle and by running various comprehensive tests to see what is happening inside the body…better than guessing what the body needs and wasting more time and money! Once the triggers are removed and the body is nourished properly, the body can begin to balance and heal.

I believed in The Wellness Way approach so much that I enrolled & graduated in the first Wellness Way Academy class so that I could share this valuable information with other women.

 

I’m so grateful to say that I now know firsthand the success one can have in overcoming their health issues using this approach. I went from having digestive issues, PCOS and struggling with infertility to now enjoying life as a mom of one.

My philosophy regarding nutrition is to go back to the land and eat real, whole, organic foods that are going to provide our bodies with supportive nutrients. Focus on where the food comes from and the quality of the food, not how many calories it contains. Learn which foods and lifestyle habits are supportive for YOU specifically! Go back to cooking and eating at home in the company of loved ones. Make mealtime a time to come together and nourish relationships rather than approaching mealtime as an inconvenience.  Slow down enough to chew throughly. Stay in the present moment and be thankful for the food on your plate.

 Making lasting dietary and lifestyle changes is a process that often takes time and will look different for each person. No two people are alike and so my recommendations for my clients will never be the same either. My desire is to make this process or transition more simple and clear for you. You can think of me as your own personal tour guide, helping you navigate the bumpy roads until you reach the smooth roads of better health!
